Vision, section 04
Verification for the machines that will run the world.
AI is moving from chat to action. We start with robotics software in simulation and move one layer closer to the machine at a time.
01 /Autonomy is leaving the screen
WHY NOW, section 001
Autonomy is outpacing its testing.
- 01
AI is moving from chat to action.
Models no longer just produce text. They plan, call tools and issue commands to systems that move.
- 02
Robots are becoming capable enough to deploy.
Cheaper hardware and learned policies are moving autonomous machines out of the lab and into the real world.
- 03
Mistakes now have physical consequences.
A bad output in a chat window is a bad answer. A bad command to an actuator is a collision.
- 04
Testing has not caught up.
Most autonomy teams still rely on hand-written scenarios, unit tests and field miles. These check what someone wrote down, not the interactions between components that nobody anticipated.
- 05
Verification becomes foundational.
Fuzzing became standard for parsers, kernels and browsers. Autonomy has no equivalent yet, built for its failure modes.
Fuzzing changed how the industry secures software. Autonomy needs the same discipline, aimed at behavior.
02 /Simulation first. Hardware next.
THE VISION, section 002
From one robot loop to the full physical stack.
We are starting where failures are cheapest to find and easiest to prove: robotics software in simulation. Each phase moves one layer closer to the machine.
01TodayNow
Robotics software, in simulation
A working engine on a controlled simulated robot, with measured coverage gains over random fault injection.
- Perception → planner → state machine → controller → actuator
- 10 fault kinds, 7 invariants
- Replay, ddmin minimization, regression tests
02Next
Real autonomy stacks
Adapters for the tools robotics teams already use, and validation on systems we did not build.
- ROS2 and MuJoCo adapters
- Software-in-the-loop verification
- Design-partner pilots
03Tomorrow
Full-stack verification for physical AI
One verification loop across every layer an autonomous machine depends on.
- AI agents and planners
- Software, firmware and compute
- Controllers, sensors and physical systems
- Hardware-in-the-loop
The goal
No autonomous system ships without its failure space being searched first.
